14th Socratic Lectures symposium took place online on April 17, 2026. It featured two plenary lectures, 9 scientific sessions, a poster session and the student session, with about 240 active participants. With over 40 submissions received, the Proceedings of the 14th Socratic Lectures is organized into four distinct parts: Part I focuses on Breast cancer research, followed by Medicine in Part II, Physics in Part III, and Interdisciplinary sciences in Part IV. Some contributions of Physics (Part III) were contributed by the students . This vision is driven by a unique primary mission: to invite students to actively engage in authentic research early in their academic journeys. While student participation is well-established at the doctoral level or through prestigious accolades like the Prešeren Awards, our symposium introduces a paradigm shift. We open these doors to the very youngest scholars – those who have just entered the university matrix, including those who may not yet stand out as top-tier students among their peers.
