Skice za zgodovino slovenske glasbe 20. stoletja

The monograph deals with a rough outline of the history of Slovenian music in the 20th century as revealed through 19 partial studies, which alternately scrutinize the opuses, composition techniques or stylistic questions concerning particular composers. For this reason, methodological perspectives shift, too, while the whole represents the initial stage of writing a new history of Slovenian music of the 20th century. Despite the book’s diversity in terms of content and methodology, individual chapters appear arranged in a chronological order and thus enable a comprehensive overview of Slovenian music of the selected time period.
