Usos discursivos de las oraciones ecuacionales en el discurso oral en ELE

This study aims to examine the discourse functions that students of Span­ish as a Foreign Language (SFL) with different native languages associ­ate with cleft sentences as a focalization mechanism. To achieve this, we briefly outline the concept of focalization through cleft sentences, explore its current role in SFL, and, most importantly, analyze its discourse ef­fectiveness in the oral communication of SFL students as documented in the PRACOMUL corpus.
