Okupacijske meje v Sloveniji 1941–1945
Keywords:
occupation borders, Slovenia, 1941–1945Synopsis
The three-year basic research project »Make this country German ... Italian ... Hungarian ... Croatian! The role of occupation borders in national politics and the life of the Slovenian population« began on May 1, 2017, and will end on April 30, 2020. It is intended to examine the impact of the borders, with which four occupiers quartered Slovenia during the Second World War, planning to wipe out its population. The project was special for its multidisciplinary approach, as there was a sizable group of geographers in the team. This time, an important element was the analysis of cartographic material, and above all, the fieldwork, which was in part related to cartographic resources.
