Research on Didactics of History: (In Memory of Dr Štefan Trojar on the 90th Anniversary of His Birth)

Dr Danijela Trškan has published scientific articles on the didactics of history in various Slovenian and foreign journals since 2001. The present publication includes 23 papers, which are divided into five chapters and are related to three research areas of history didactics: history teaching methodology, primary and secondary history didactics, and higher education history didactics. The publication was written in memory of Dr Štefan Trojar (September 19, 1931-October 29, 2014), a historian and methodologist who can be considered a pioneer of scientific research on history didactics in the Republic of Slovenia, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of his birth. On the one hand, the publication shows the development of history didactics at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, and on the other hand, it offers history teachers, history students and all those interested in history didactics a concise overview of the author's scientific contributions, published in Zgodovinski časopis and Časopis za zgodovino in narodopisje from 2001 to 2021.
