Syntacticising: Selected Chapters from the Syntax of the Slovenian Language
Keywords:
propositional description, semantic substructure, structural syntax, description of the communicative roles of sentences, syntax of the permanent communicative forms of sentencesSynopsis
The book deals with selected issues of the syntax of the Slovene language, both literary and spontaneously spoken. Grammar is an area that is present at all grammatical levels, at the level of phonetics, word formation, phonology, lexicology, syntax, etc. Syntax is, in fact, grammar itself. In a very general way, it can be divided into three interrelated levels: propositional description or semantic substructure, structural syntax and the description of the communicative roles of sentences or the syntax of the permanent communicative forms of sentences.
