Spomin jezika, jezik spomina: študije o pesniškem jeziku
Keywords:

Poetic language always contains a function Boris A. Novak calls the memory of the language: repeating rhythmic and sound patterns (alliteration, assonance, rhyme) with their verbal echoes establish a time / memory continuum which prevents the linear flow of words from passing into silence and oblivion. And this memory of the language carries the language of the memory, both on a personal and collective level. In the present monograph the author analyses both concepts, characteristic for his poetic praxis and theory, through examples of verse rhythms ranging from Homeric dactylic hexameter to modern free verse.
