Designing and Constructing a Corpus of Spoken Spanish as a Foreign Language: The PRACOMUL Corpus of Student Transcriptions

This chapter outlines the design, development, and outcomes of the PRACOMUL platform, a dedicated website and hub created as part of the PRACOMUL project (Pragmatic Competence from a Multilin­gual Perspective). The PRACOMUL platform connects learners from diverse linguistic backgrounds, enabling them to interact with students from various universities in different countries. Its primary focus is on facilitating the acquisition and development of pragmatic competence in Spanish as a second language.
