Ikoničnost v priredjih

This article shows how the order of events affects their formulation in coordination. In a coordinated sentence, events are almost always formulated in the same order as they happened, which is not necessarily the case for the other relations in a multiclause sentence. This is the temporal iconicity principle of coordina­tion, which also leads to the absence of backwards ellipsis and cataphora in coordination. The article deals with all types of coordination in which iconicity is clearly expressed.
