Synopsis

This article analyzes poetic imagery in a representative sample of Slovenian internment camp and prison poetry. It focuses on motifs or images related to nature. In addition to images of plants and animals, it also analyzes representations of nonliving nature, and it presents all of them using concrete examples from the selected poems.
