Najnovejši prevodi slovenske književnosti v slovaščino

This article focuses on the most recent book and magazine translations of Slovenian literature into Slovak that have been published since 2020. Texts translated as part of literary festivals are also taken into account. It can be noted that the issues and tendencies already apparent in the past are also evident in this period, in particular the limited number of active translators, their personal commitment, and the strong influence of economic factors. However, the presence of Slovenian literature in all the fields mentioned, the selection of quality works that have a positive impact on the reception of Slovenian literature in Slovakia, and the genre differentiation of the resulting translations are all encouraging.
