Preplet nostalgije in umišljene domovine pri Francetu Papežu

This article explores the concepts of nostalgia and imaginary homeland in the work Zapisi iz zdomstva (Notes from Exile) by France Papež. Drawing on the theoretical frameworks of Svetlana Boym and Salman Rushdie, it analyzes how Papež, as an émigré writer, constructs a symbolic and temporally suspended image of prewar region of White Carniola. The article highlights the tension between personal, reflective nostalgia and the collective, ideologically shaped reconstruction of homeland within the Slovenian community in Argentina.
