Slovenian novels that are part of the international book series 100 Slavic Novels and the Russian translation series Slovenskiy glagol (The Slovenian Word) have been introducing Russian readers to the history, traditions, and everyday life of Slovenians, as well as their feelings, which are more or less familiar to Russians, for over ten years. The selection of works for both series has taken into account recommendations from Slovenian researchers.
