Synopsis

This monograph examines the physical and human geographical characteristics and processes of the relatively little‑known and scarcely researched transboundary sub‑Pannonian landscape of the Sotla Hills. It introduces new insights across a range of thematic domains. A substantial share of the findings is based on analyses of data collected through field investigations carried out by three generations of geography students between 2019 and 2024, under the supervision of the academic staff of the Department of Geography, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana.
