V prvem delu knjige Dobro počutje na delovnem mestu: psihološki pogledi, raziskave in priporočila želijo avtorice in avtorji opozoriti na vlogo vodij, ki s svojim vedenjem, komunikacijo ter odločitvami pomembno sooblikujejo vzpodbudno delovno okolje. Ne le njihove akcije, že njihova stališča do spodbujanja duševnega zdravja zaposlenih so pomembna. Sledijo poglavja, ki z različnih perspektiv analizirajo dobro počutje, dobrobit, avtentičnost, vitalnost ter zavzetost zaposlenih. Posamezna poglavja obravnavajo različna področja našega delovanja v službi – od pomena prijateljstva, intimnosti, samoprilagajanja delovnega mesta do platformnega dela in blagostanja zaposlenih tujcev. Ob koncu tega sklopa sta dve poglavji namenjeni študentskemu delu, ki je v Sloveniji razširjeno, a z vidika različnih strok prepogosto potisnjeno v ozadje. Tretji del knjige pa naslavlja teme, ki jih delodajalci ne omenjajo prav pogosto, zaposleni in psihologi pa se jih še kako zavedamo in zato tudi o njih jasno in glasno govorimo. Gre za občutke osamljenosti, iskanja smisla, manjvrednosti in izgorelosti.
