Psihotipologija in prenos leksikalnih prvin v prevodu sorodnih jezikov
Synopsis
This article identifies, classifies and analyzes the sources of negative transfer in translation, which is a consequence of the perceived typological similarity of two related languages: Slovenian and Croatian. Based on the material collected in the CLASSLA corpus (Ljubešić idr. 2024), a typology of Slovenian–Croatian lexical relations was established, potential sources of negative transfer were identified, and the results of research on translation errors that may arise because of negative transfer are presented.
