Authors

Ana Vogrinčič Čepič

Synopsis

The article presents the course programme of the reading-literary discussion group which I conducted together with Dr Veronika Rot Gabrovec as part of the Faculty of Active Wisdom at the University of Ljubljana during the summer semester of 2023. It outlines the theoretical foundations of this work, drawing on the so-called anthropology or ethnography of reading, autoethnography, and certain principles of embodied cognition. It describes the working methods, the structure of individual sessions, and their effects. A significant part of the article discusses the responses and reflections of the five participating students, which may serve as a corrective in the development of guidelines for leading similar reading-discussion groups.
