Synopsis

Monografija prinaša izsledke raziskav  s področij, na katera posega skladnja: od fonetičnega pa vse do besedilnega. Prvo poglavje se ukvarja s skladenjskofonetičnim opisom slovenskega jezika, v drugem sklopu je variete obravnave različnih vidikov skladenjskega pomena predvsem na ravni pomenske podstave, tretji sklop zaobjema elemente strukturne skladnje, četrti je v celoti posvečen poročanemu govoru,  peti obravnava trpnik, šesti se dotika slovarskega prikaza skladenjskih variant oz. vzorcev, sedmi sklop prinaša raziskave s področja besediloslovja in besednega reda, zadnji in tudi najobsežnejši sklop pa obravnava slovenščino kot drugi ali tuji jezik in se hkrati dotika kontrastivne analize slovenščine z drugimi jeziki. Knjiga prevrednoti in nadgrajuje temeljna spoznanja o  slovenski skladnji, zapisana ne le v Slovenski slovnici, pač pa tudi nekaterih drugih vidnejših jezikoslovnih delih.
