This article focuses on the notation, pronunciation, and accentuation of selected borrowed musical expressions. Modern standardization aims to document various manifestations of language usage, and so one can find doublets in manuals indicating potential development options for individual manifestations in both notation and pronunciation. Therefore, normative manuals were searched for (doublet) notations and pronunciations of selected musical expressions, and a survey was used to verify which of the two options prevails.
