Terminološki dogovor kot osnova za oblikovanje terminološke norme: Primer klinične prehrane

Synopsis

Terminological agreement can be understood as the regulation of and consensus on specialized vocabulary (concepts, conceptual systems, terms, and terminological definitions) in one or more fields. There is a distinction between implicit terminological agreement, in which there is tacit acceptance of terminology as it becomes more widely used and established in the profession, and explicit terminological agreement, which is the result of a published agreement by a group of experts. Explicit terminological agreement is rarer, but when it exists and is appropriately formulated it takes normative precedence over the implicit agreement. This article presents an example of the development of explicit terminological agreement in clinical nutrition, which was the product of collaboration between forty-two authors from nineteen Slovenian institutions.
