Al prav se reče kákšen ali kàkšen: O gimnazijskem pravorečju
Synopsis
This article deals with high school orthoepy and with general issues of linguistic normativity. It presents directives in official documents and the actual situation. It contains critical views regarding the traditionally strong influence of Slovenian academic linguists on first language teaching. The high school leaving exam is also discussed because it influences teaching content and is becoming an important measure of the quality of teachers’ work. Possibilities for improvement are considered.
