Funkcionalna stilistika i razgovorni stil hrvatskoga jezika

U prilogu je riječ o temeljnim postavkama funkcionalne stilistike, o povijesnim aspektima te discipline utemeljene u okvirima praškoga lingvističkog kruga te o funkcionalnoj stilistici u Hrvatskoj, kojoj su začetnici Krunoslav Pranjić i Josip Silić. Govori se dakako i o tipologiji funkcionalnih stilova, posebice o osobitostima razgovornoga funkcionalnog stila u odnosu na druge stilove (znanstveni, publicistički, administrativni i beletristički). S tim u vezi potanje se razrađuje po mišljenju autora posve utemeljeno stajalište da razgovorni funkcionalni stil ne treba smatrati dijelom standardnoga jezika.

The paper addresses the fundamental principles of functional stylistics, the historical development of this discipline within the framework of the Prague Linguistic Circle, and the tradition of functional stylistics in Croatia, whose pioneers were Krunoslav Pranjić and Josip Silić. It also discusses the typology of functional styles, with particular attention to the specific features of the conversational functional style in relation to other styles (scientific, journalistic, administrative, and literary-artistic). In this context, the author elaborates on the well-founded view that the conversational functional style should not be regarded as part of the standard language.
