Monografija Mlada roka trga (dela): psihologija poklicnih pričakovanj, predstav in sprememb skuša celostno predstaviti problematiko psihološkega razvoja mladostnikov in mladih na prehodu v odraslost z vidika poklicnih izbir in pojmovanj, povezanih z delom, umeščenih v kontekst spreminjajočega se sveta. Knjigo odlikujejo eklektičnost vsebinskih poudarkov, metodološka bogatost, predvsem pa praktična uporabnost. Vsa poglavja namreč sledijo enaki strukturi, ki vodi k izpeljavi konkretnih predlogov za delo v praksi. S tem želijo avtorji knjigo približati ne le raziskovalcem, ki se ukvarjajo z vprašanji dela, zaposlovanja in mladih, ampak tudi praktikom in mladim samim, za katere upajo, da bodo skozi predstavljene refleksije časa, v katerem živijo, našli usmeritve, koristne za lastno prihodnost.
